Spectrum Autism Diagnostic Assessment Services specialise in neuro-affirmative private Autism and Combined Neurodevelopmental (Autism & ADHD) Assessments for children and young people in North London, Essex, Hertfordshire, Cambridgeshire, and surrounding areas.

Our assessments meet the strict criteria set out in NICE Guidance and our clinicians are highly experienced with many years of diagnosing autism within both the NHS and private practice.

Our professionals prepare reports written with a positive and neuro-affirmative approach; we not only present the child or young person's differences but we consider their whole profile and also focus on the individual's strengths and abilities.

We provide autism and for children and young people aged between 5 and 25. However, in some situations we may be able to offer autism assessments for children as young as 3.  We can provide combined neurodevelopmental assessments for children and young people aged between 6 and 18 years.

Autism is a lifelong neuro-developmental condition that affects how a person communicates with and relates to other people; how they manage relationships and social situations; and how they experience the world around them. Autistic people see, hear, and feel the world differently to other people.

More than one in one hundred people are on the autism spectrum and there are around 700,000 autistic adults and children in the UK.

"A big thank you to Jenny, Sarah and everyone involved with diagnosing our Taylor. Jenny was a delight. She kept us up to date on how things would proceed. The report provided, involving the MDT,was excellent and informative. Sarah followed up with her feedback call, again, she was professional and a pleasure to deal with. Again, thank you to everyone. Would highly recommend".

"Sarah and Jenny have been the light in the long dark path we've been on as a family. They've been highly professional but more than that they've been supportive and reassuring throughout. I would undoubtably recommend their service to other families".
